Salary & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering daily lessons, preparing materials, and organising learning activities.
- Work with individual students or small groups under the teacher's direction to reinforce concepts and provide targeted support.
- Help monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and attendance as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
- Supervise students during transitions, breaks, recess, lunch, and dismissal as assigned.
- Support students' social-emotional development by modelling positive behaviour and encouraging respectful interactions.
- Assist in preparing and organising classroom resources, displays, and instructional materials.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher, specialists, and support staff to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide events as required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and all school matters at all times.
- Promote and uphold the values and ethos of ACA Bahrain at all times.
- Must be a resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- High school diploma as a minimum; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
- Fluent English language proficiency — spoken and written (TOEFL 500+ or IELTS 6.0+ preferred for language allowance eligibility).
- Warm, patient, and nurturing disposition with a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.
- Previous experience working with children in a school, early years, or educational setting.
- Basic understanding of child development and elementary education practices.
- Experience in an international or multicultural school environment.
Requirements
Essential:
- Must be a resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Fluent English language proficiency — spoken and written (TOEFL 500+ or IELTS 6.0+ preferred for language allowance eligibility).
