Salary BD 6,975 – BD 8,503 per year, tax-free (based on qualifications & experience)

Tuition Discount at ACA 25% discount on ACA tuition fees for up to 2 children

Contract Length 2 years (renewable)

  Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, play-based, and age-appropriate lessons aligned to the school's Early Years curriculum and Core American Standards.

• Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

• Observe and assess each child's development and learning progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating findings to parents and the Principal.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs, interests, and developmental stages of all learners in the class.

• Build warm, trusting relationships with students and their families, holding regular parent conferences and providing timely updates on student progress.

• Collaborate closely with co-teachers, Teaching Assistants, and specialist staff to support the holistic development of each child.

• Follow the prescribed curriculum for the assigned grade level and contribute to its ongoing review and improvement.

• Supervise students at all times — in the classroom, during transitions, outdoor play, breaks, and dismissal.

• Participate in staff meetings, grade-level meetings, parent events, and professional development sessions.

• Sponsor or contribute to at least one extracurricular club or school-wide activity per year.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and print-rich classroom environment that reflects student learning.

• Uphold and model ACA's values and code of conduct at all times.

  Requirements

Essential:

• Must be a permanent resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field.

• Valid teaching license or certification.

• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and play-based learning approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Patient, creative, and energetic with a genuine love for working with young children.

Preferred:

• 1–2 years of classroom experience in an Early Years or Pre-K setting; new graduates are welcome to apply.

• Familiarity with the American curriculum or an internationally recognised Early Years framework.

• Experience in an international or multilingual school environment.
