Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Years or Elementary Education
- Valid teaching license preferred
- 1–2 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome
- Strong knowledge of teaching strategies and methods
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging lessons that follow the prescribed curriculum and meet students’ needs, interests, and abilities
- Build academic and problem-solving skills, and encourage lifelong learning
- Use only textbooks approved by the Board of Trustees and Ministry of Education
- Contribute to curriculum development and the selection of instructional materials
Assessment & Communication
- Track, evaluate, and report on student progress to the Principal
- Maintain accurate academic and behavioral records
- Hold and document regular parent conferences
- Refer students needing additional support to the appropriate staff
School Community
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and during breaks and dismissal
- Lead or support student activities and after-school clubs
- Attend staff, grade-level, and student-focused meetings, and serve on committees as needed
- Model and uphold the school’s values, including respect for Islamic principles and the virtues of honesty, integrity, and kindness
- Represent ACA positively and follow all school policies
Professional Growth
- Pursue ongoing development through in-service training, seminars, and courses
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal
