The Principal is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the school, with a strong focus on teaching and learning, staff supervision, and student outcomes. This role requires an experienced school leader who understands curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school operations, and who can lead staff effectively while maintaining high expectations for performance and professionalism.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and consistently with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
Salary Range: USD74,824 – USD77,919
Key Responsibilities
School Leadership and Operations
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of all school operations.
- Set clear expectations for staff performance, student behavior, and instructional quality.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and the effective use of school resources.
Teaching, Learning, and Student Achievement
- Ensure consistent implementation of curriculum aligned with academic standards.
- Monitor student achievement data and lead instructional improvement efforts.
- Support intervention strategies for students requiring additional academic or behavioral support.
- Promote a safe, orderly, and respectful learning environment.
Curriculum and Instruction
- Oversee curriculum planning, instructional delivery, and assessment practices.
- Lead professional development aligned with school priorities and instructional needs.
- Use data to guide decision-making and improve instructional outcomes.
Parent and Community Engagement
- Maintain regular and professional communication with parents and guardians.
- Address parent concerns in a timely and constructive manner.
- Represent the school in meetings with external partners and regulatory bodies.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all applicable educational regulations and school policies.
- Oversee required documentation, reporting, and accreditation processes.
- Maintain standards related to student safeguarding, health, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (required)
- Administrative certification preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a comparable principal or senior leadership role
